Constructedinlate-2019 and costing USD25 million, the Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club (RSLTC) is the first project completed in the Pearl of the Caribbean masterplan. Royal Saint Lucia Turf Club has also been granted special authorization by Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II to use the word “Royal”. RSLTC has since held multiple successful horseracing events including the inaugural Caribbean Equine Cultural Festival (CECF) horseracing festival. The USD2.6 billion Pearl of the Caribbean spans across multiple development sites making it Saint Lucia’s largest development and receives strong support from the government. A definite reassurance and confidence boost for any investor.

During RSLTC inaugural CECF horseracing event, not only did a horse owner from China made history by becoming the first Chinese to claim a winning trophy in the Caribbean, Qin Yong, a celebrated jockey from China also finished first in the event’s main race – the Caribbean’s richest race at USD150,000 – the Pitons Cup. And with these wins, immortalizing yet another victory into the pages of China’s thoroughbred racing record.
